Description

AJR gives 8th-12th graders an opportunity learn the sport of rowing. Athletes will spend time with current AJR rowers on the water and on land learning boat handling and rowing technique, general conditioning on the ergometer (rowing machine), and land-based workouts. It’s a great introduction to the sport and gives athletes a taste of what rowing is all about and sets them up nicely to begin rowing with AJR in the Fall. At the end the week there is a short race to test your rowing skill!
